Names that we are given is a thing of joy for us to use it to help people because we didn't know what tomorrow may bring or we didn't know what will happen tomorrow and we didn't know who will help us tomorrow.

My surname has help me in many cases I remember when I finished secondary school and I was looking for job to help myself to purchase little things for myself and for my younger ones and also to my parents, we were 10 of us that submit applications letters to the company where they supply bread and ice cream.

So among the 10 of us I am the only one who gots the job and the opportunity to work in the company and the manager of the company told me that it what your great grand father did to me that what I consider and help you, your great grand father has really help my family alot with what he did to me you his grand son will benefits from it.

The manager really did well to me and also to my family, just imagine favour of my great grandfather I am benefiting from it in 2020.

What is your full name and what does it mean?

My name is Esenaikife Christopher onome which comes from the south south of Nigeria in delta state uvwie local government area.

I always cherish this name that my parents gave me and also I am the third person bearing this name onome in our extended family and also I always follow the full steps of others onome because they have really drop a great legacy and also done great things for us.

The meaning of my names are Esenaikife means riches from God almighty, Christopher means Christ bearer while the Onome means my own.

Esenaikife is my surname, Christopher is my first name while the Onome is my last name, the Esenaikife is my great grandfather father name and the legacy that my great grandfather has drop we the children are eating from it.

Why were you given this name or who gave it to you?, is there a story behind it?.

I was given this name by my late grand mother from my father sides, according to my father he said that his mother was saying it that she loves any of her sons to have birth to a boy so that she can give him onome because she likes what her name who her name is onome did to her when she was young.

When it gets closer for me to be born my father mother was very sick and the sickness was about taking her life so she drop a written note which read my son Emmanuel Esenaikife give your unborn son Onome for my sake and I will be very happy.

After that the next day she passed to the cool hands of death and a week after I was born into this world and also in this country Nigeria.

I am very satisfied with the name my parents gave me because they see the name as a good name for me that why they gave it to me.

My username on steemit platform is my nickname and it is originated from onome, I just only removed the last alphabet which is the e and add zy and 001 to it to make it @onomzy001.
