What is your full name and what does it mean?

My full name is Sana Ihsan. The name "Sana" is an Arabic name that means brightness praise or brilliance. It is a beautiful and soft name that gives a peaceful feeling. The name "Ihsan" also comes from Arabic and means kindness excellence or doing good things. Together my name means "bright kindness" or "beautiful excellence". I feel happy when i hear the meaning of my name because it shows good qualities.

Why were you given this name or who gave it to you? Is there a story behind it?

Yes there is a small story behind my name. My name was given by my mother's friend. She was a close family friend who had seven sons but no daughter. She always wished to have a daughter in her life. When I was born she was very happy and felt like I was her own daughter. She gave me the name Sana because she loved this name a lot. It made her feel close to the daughter she never had. My mother liked the name too and she added "Ihsan" with it. That’s how I became Sana Ihsan. This story makes my name very special and unique to me.

Are you satisfied with that name or do you want to change it? If yes then which name do you want to keep and why?

I am very happy with my name. I never want to change it. It is not just a name for me it is a gift full of love from someone special every time someone calls me by my name i feels proud and thankful i think my name suits my personality and makes me feel confident. So i never thought about changing it.

Tell us about your username on Steemit. Is it the same as your real name or is it different? How did you choose that username?

My username on Steemit is @sana-khan01. It is a little different from my real name i used "Sana" from my real name and "Khan" is a common family title in our culture. I added "01" to make it unique and special. I chose this username because it is easy to remembered and i like how it sounds. It shows a part of my real name and a part of my identity.
