Asalm-u-Alaikum Steemians Friends
My name is Sehrish Zafar, I come from Layyah Pakistan, the land of peace, and Faith. I am doing my master’s MPhil in Agricultural Sciences from a Public University in Pakistan. My interests are mainly related to my field which are nature, plants, gardening, and reading books. I am here in Steem for the Pakistan Community to seek support from Pakistani Individuals, as we belong to the same country.
Today I am here to participate in a contest named "My Eid Shopping", arranged by one of the prestigious moderators of the community, @abdullahw2.
My Eid Shopping

Have You Done Your Eid Shopping?
Yes, I’ve started my Eid shopping, from the last week. Till now, I just bought up some un-stitched dresses and gave them to a tailor near me and they are preparing according to my instructions.
I have gone market at least twice a week with my family to buy clothes for all.

Planning My Eid Shopping
As I have done only very little shopping, my plan is to do my other remaining shopping this weekend. The break-out of my shopping list is the following:
- Wedding Outfits: separate for Mehndi, Barat, and Reception
- I have decided to wear a lehenga for the Mehndi night and an elegant shalwar kameez for the Walima.
- Eid Shopping: As the wedding date is not the same as Eid Day, I decided to buy a casual attractive dress as my Eid Outfit. It can be a beautiful Kurti or a 3-piece stitched dress.
- Accessories and Jewelry: I decided to buy separate accessories and jewelry, matching each outfit.
- Gifts: I also have decided to buy some small gifts for my cousins for example decorative items, as a gift for eid.
My Favorite Place for Eid Shopping
I basically belong to Layyah, but for shopping, we do shopping from Multan, Pakistan. The Local markets, which I prefer more, are rushed nowadays due to the nearing of eid. My favorite place for shopping is the Chungi no #6 Bazar, and the one market in the Multan Cantt. For the jewelry and accessories, I prefer from the branded shops, then local ones. I also prefer Mall of Multan, Chase-up, and Chase-value for modern Outfits.

A Special Gift for a Steemian Friend
If I had an option to give a gift to one of the steemain friends, I would gift him/her something that is very personal and depicts my culture. However, I would give an Ajrak from Sindh. This gift carries the heritage of Pakistan and represents our rich culture of Pakistan.
Final Thoughts
On the eve of Eid, I wish you all the best of Luck for your Eid Shopping, and I'm inviting some of the members of this community to participate in a contest, @suboohi, @ahsansharif, and @afshan12.
