Steem memory game; My first trial and review

in hive-185836 •  3 days ago  (edited)

Greetings and welcome to my blog. Today I tried out steem memory game. This is actually my first game on steemit. I saw the contest on the contest lists by @disconnet and I decided to try it out.

At first I didn’t know how to go about it but I dived in all the way and am glad I did. On getting to the game portal, I signed in to my account with my username and posting keys.

I must comment the user friendly interface, it’s very colorful and easy to use at a glance. By merely looking at it, you already know how to navigate your way and the prompts are very clear. I like it.

I also love the fact that I play it on my phone without having to connect to my computer to access it.

On logging in, it took me to the page where I had to make matches. At first I seemed a little lost until I started flipping the pages. I had an initial panick attack. Hahah. I thought there was a count down timer that would go off if I didn’t meet up with the time and it sent me into a frenzy of opening and reopening and hence missing the matches.

At a point I had to settle down and start keeping track of my game when I noticed I was to do it at my own pace. I was trying to keep a track of my progress and hence I was taking some screenshots and that also elongated the time I spent in the game.

Finally, I was able to get all my matches done but at a longer time.

I completed the matches in 29 moves and in 3 minutes with a final score of 1329. That’s alot but since it’s my first trial, I think it ok.

Now that I’ve gotten a hang of it, I think I will do better in the other ones.

I love this game and I want to commend the developers for making it easily accessible. I also love the fact that it records the results automatically on the blockchain cos I was at a loss on how to go about that.

I partook in the free version cause I wanted to try it out first and it’s cool. I recommend it for any steemians who love to have fun outside of work.

I love steem memory game. Kudos to the developers. I invite @blessedlife, @edu-chemist, @ngozi996, @zisha-hafiz, @dequeen, and @tykay019 to check this out.

I was trying to use the memory-game-off hash tag for the post but it kept telling me to remove one dash. I had to remove the last dash to be able to use the tag. Is there a tag you people use to track related posts to steem memory games?

Not to worry
I’ve seen the right tag in your guidelines post.
