The new street

In Vologda, in mid-October, a new street of the Poet Alexander Romanov opened for traffic. It connects two residential districts – Byvalovo and 5th.

Previously, there was a vacant lot among the houses in this place, and a field between the neighborhoods.

The street has already appeared on satellite maps.

It has a length of one and a half kilometers.

Two bridges have been made on Romanov Street. One is across the Shogrash River, the other is across the Putka.

There are three circular traffic rings on this street.

I have historical documentary footage of places where this transport artery has not yet existed.

That's how the landscape can change in just two years.

Now it remains to wait for another bridge to be built across the Vologda River.
