Barcelona 3-3 Inter

A stunning opening goal by Thuram, only thirty seconds into the game. Then Barcelona controlled the game with their classical football until they made a mistake and Inter scored their second goal. Then of course Inter went all back and Barcelona scored their first goal via Yamal and eventually scored the tie. First half finished 2-2, with Barcelona clearly controlling the midfield and Inter on the lookout for mistakes.

Second half was more of the same Barcelona controlled and Inter just getting in a few counterattacks. So the game kept going until Inter got a corner and scored with a Dumfries header. a few minutes later Barcelona again scored the draw with a long shot from Raphina that hit the bar and Somer backed the ball in, an own goal. After this a continuous Barcelona with the ball and Inter just trying, all to no avail the score did not move again.

Now my view, six very good goals, and each and every one of them easily avoidable except for the poor defending. And the thing is I can expect that from Barcelona who goes all out in attack, but Inter are an Italian team where the philosophy is to first of all prevent the adversary from scoring and only then look for any break. Seems today was different for them.

The next game is in Milan, Inter should be favorites being locals but in reality neither is a favorite now, the first goal changes everything.
