THE DIARY GAME(08/08/2021): A Visit To Tono Irrigational Project-10% TO @steem-ghana

Hello everyone am Muhammad Kasib,today I woke up around 11am by a call from my brother who was around my vicinity and wanted to come pay me a visit since we hadn’t seen each other since the Eid celebration.
I quickly brushed,took my bath and dressed up as I went to bring him since he wasn’t familiar to the road leading to my hostel,so to save the stress i sent him my location via WhatsApp which he had no problem with.
It was quite a reunion and I was happy to see him as well,he came along with some of his work staff who were all en route to a naming ceremony of one of their colleagues nearby.
We spoke,reminisced and laughed about past things.
He then advised my roommate and I plus a couple of friends to study hard,chase our dreams and never give up.
So about some 20 minutes in after vibing and checking up on me he said his goodbyes and left to his work station.
After he left I prayed and to took a nap since I had a severe migraine due to lack of sleep.
Around 3pm an hour after taking the nap we then decided to go to the Tono Irrigational Project in the Kassena Nankana District near my school.
It was like a 20 minutes drive to there and trust me upon arrival the view was breathtaking.

Tono Irrigational Project

I went there with my fellow steemians @njaywan ,@farhmade and @silencewan.
It was quite an adventure since we had our driver as our tour guide whom is also a native of the place so he gave us a brief history about the place,it’s purpose and long it’s been around.
Basically the dam is for Irrigational purposes such as farming and was set up by the government to increase yield in the agricultural sector but he did tell us it’s been treated for drinking as well.

The Homies

After our tour we headed back to school since it was getting late and dark but we made some few stops and one was getting some food for supper.
After eating I then continued reading my lecture slides for the upcoming examination ahead.
So basically that’s what transpired in my day and y’all can come in your numbers to Tono I’ll be your tour guide lol.
