Was April what you expected?

April was very much what I expected. Our academic session in school ended on the 29th of March, 2025. So, the holidays began on the 30th of March and spanned till the fifth day of May meaning my whole April was spent at home.

I made the most out of it. I've been reading my books diligently and writing here in Steemit. These two activities were the hallmarks of my April.

We're celebrating Labour Day. Are you proud of the work you do everyday?

Well, as a high school student, my work is writing on Steemit. It's the only thing I do to earn a living. So later this month when Labour Day is celebrated, I'll celebrate it with pride.

Are there any dates this month that are special for you this month?

The fifth day of this month is the birthday of my sister-in-law. So yes, there is one special day for me this month.

Do you have expectations, goals or plans to achieve this month?

Yes I do. I intend on completing the JAMB syllabi for Physics and Chemistry before the end of this month since I'll be writing an examination in July. JAMB is an acronym for Joint Admission Matriculation Board. They set examinations that every high school student must write before gaining admission into the university.

In May, we celebrate mother's day. How do you plan to honor your mom? Or, failing that, how do you remember her?

I intend to get my mother a jewelry as a gift and write a meaningful message to her on that day. She has been a great support to me and a big friend. Mother's Day is an opportunity for me to appreciate her.
