Soave, the village that combines wine with culture!

Hello friends, I am very happy to participate in this contest, because I have the opportunity to introduce you to the village where I was born, which is a medieval village and certainly if you are thinking of planning a trip to Italy or Veneto this place can make me live an authentic experience between history, nature and culture.

I am talking about his mother, a village located a few kilometers from Verona, and it was also the most beautiful village in Italy in 2022.

The village can be reached by public transport, especially by train stopping at the San Bonifacio station, which is about 10 km from Soave or by car you can exit at the Soave San Bonifacio toll booth and the A4 motorway and in about 2 km you are in the center of the village.

As soon as you arrive, the first thing you notice are the mighty crenellated walls that surround the village, in fact the greatest development of the village was with the medieval era, when these walls were built But the castle was also built.

Surely, the first thing I recommend you do is take a walk through the cobbled streets of the Borgo, a very authentic experience that will make you appreciate every architectural glimpse of the place.

Walking through the streets of this Borgo will make you enter the authentic medieval atmosphere but above all discover interesting buildings and also picturesque views that can be very interesting to take some beautiful photos to keep as a souvenir.

Soave is not only famous for its architectural beauty, for its history and its culture virtues but also for its famous white wine appreciated Since ancient times but also famous throughout the world and here you can find a wine road that is about a 50 km route that can be done on foot or by mountain bike among the vineyards The cellars and the beautiful views that can certainly be found in this place.

As for the events and manifestations that take place here in Soave, I must point out that every year there is the grape festival in September and the wine festival in May, therefore perfect occasions to appreciate the local traditions, but also the typical products of the area, for example many do not know that here produced a very good raw ham of Soave that can be tasted at these events.

Last year, a beautiful Trail route was also inaugurated that goes up from the Borgo to the castle, a very challenging climb but very beautiful because it winds along the walls.
