The Diary Game [05/05/2025] // Day 2 at the Hospital after the Caesarian section.

Steem greetings @everyone from the motherland-Cameroon and welcome to my blog as I share my daily lifestyle content with you all. It is another new day with new challenges to face but the good thing is “…we are more than conquerors”.

I woke up from bed and only one thing was on my mind how to tackle my challenges for the day. I had work to be done online and also to take care of my sister-in-law in the hospital who is gradually regaining herself after caesarean section.

I had to cook food at home to carry to the hospital. I went to a nearby market and bought okra, fresh fish, egusi, vegetable leaves, tomatoes, and okonghobong leaves. These were used to cook fufu corn and okra soup for the patients while others could eat the huckleberry and fufu.

I had to make sure by lunchtime the food was ready to be consumed. I had to use two cookers at the same time to go faster. Grandma was at home so insisted and helped me to arrange some of the ingredients.

It was easy to prepare the meal and I had to shower and bath the kids and my brother-in-law would drive us to the hospital. The sun was scorching and temperatures were high.

We arrived at the hospital on time and the patient was very active. The baby was also active. We had some chit-chat for almost an hour and then ate the food.

After the chit-chat, I had to go online to attend a training. It was held for three hours and I logged out. Everyone was heading back home but I had to sleep over with the patient as she needed an assistant at night. It was indeed a tiring day for me and I can not wait to be back home to get a proper rest.
