The Diary Game [27/04/2025] // Sunday Vibes

Steem greetings, guys, from the motherland of Cameroon to all my amazing friends in the Steemit ecosystem. It's yet another awesome day to share my daily lifestyle.

It was Sunday morning and a day of worship as a Christian but these days I prefer to stay at home and follow the church service online. But I had plans to go out for a walk and distract myself for a while.

My church program lasted for 2 hours and because I followed the first service that started at 6:00 AM, by 8:00AM it was done and my kids were up from bed. I had to prepare them breakfast which I went for fried plantains and eggs.

After feeding the kids, I took a warm shower as I was not feeling well enough to bath cold water. I decided to go out and have a walk along the street. The streets were not giving the kind of vibe I was expecting. It seemed as if it was a normal work day, unlike other Sunday vibes along the streets. I stopped at a fast-food point to order some shawarma for my kids.

I returned home feeling more bored because I did not get the vibe on the street I was expecting. However, my kids were super excited after receiving the shawarma. I lay down on the couch to watch the soccer match against Manchester United and Bournemouth.

It was a challenging game for Manchester United after almost losing home and away to Bournemouth. Luckily after the 90th minutes, they managed to equalise. I had to prepare Huckleberry to keep against tomorrow. I will use it in the next day to prepare fufu corn with it. I picked up the good leaves and spread them on a bag on the floor to remain fresh and not airtight.

I further continued with the match against Liverpool and Tottenham. It was a deciding game for Liverpool to be declared winners of the English Premeiere League tittle for 2024/2025 season.

In the first 15 minutes of the game, Tottenham showed they came prepared to frustrate Liverpool’s plans to celebrate their trophy for this season. They opened the scores in the 11th minute of play. Liverpool was more determined and responded back-to-back with 5 goals. The scores ended 5:1 in favour of Liverpool.

While watching the game, I was making good use of this our local snacks fried corn and fried peanuts.

After watching the soccer games, I had a little chit-chat with my husband before we called it a day and I went to bed. Until my next diary session guys, happy work week ahead.
