The Diary Game: Assisting in the Construction of My Snail Pen//30-04_2025

A warm greetings to all my amazing steemians friends, I'm glad you made it into another new month,the fifth month in 2025. I'm using these space to wish you a very happy new month fill with peace and joy as we begin these new month today.
I'm here to share with you my diary of yesterday, please bring your seat let read it together.

Have been considering the type of business that I can venture with minimal capital, have even done some cost analysis on few businesses that I can handle very well but the initial capital is too high. So I now decided to embark into snail farming which is particularly based on my area of specialization. I studied Animal Science in the University so I have knowledge of rearing both small and large animals, and looking at the cost of starting; Snail requires small capital investment than others. So yesterday I assisted in the Construction of my pen. When I mention pen it is not the one we usually used in writing, we have terminologies in animal science just like other field like medicine, law and others.
I already chosen a site for construction which one of major criteria for any business to succeed. Snail does not required complex building,it can be reared in tyes, uncompleted building,old building tanks, transparent pile with perforiated holds and many others etc
So there's condemned building in our compound that I want to convert into my snail pen ,I bought half bag of cement and gather broken blocks.
Early morning of yesterday I called a brick layer who will help me construct the snail pen to my satisfaction,so when he came in the morning I bargain price before he started working,he demanded for a labourer and being that is not up to a day work,so I decided to do the labourers work by supplying sand and water

After I supplied the sand he started mixing the sand with cement and water

I actually stood to watch him mixed everything because I needed to show him the dimension,he started the work and everything was going smoothly

This is stage one in construction,the laying of the blocks process and using robe to make it straight and in the same length with others.

This is stage two,the partitioning into different segment. I needed up to three different pen for different sizes of snail, but I ended up having just two partition for a start.

This is the last stage smoothing, I watch him do everything and at the end he washed all his tools that he used in carrying out the work. Since it was half day, I paid him 2500 naira for the job.

After the brick layer had left I went to freshen up and dressed up for midweek service and bible study, I didn't really have appetite yesterday,so I left to church without food

I spend the rest of day in church and I so much thank God immediately I entered the house from church there was a heavy down pour of rain and I took dinner garri and soup. After eating I was eagerly waiting for light so that I can charge my phone but to no avail and I slept off till these morning.
