살사 동기 모임 Salsa Crew Gathering 💃🕺🎶

지금은 쉬고 있지만, 살사를 처음 같이 배웠던 동기들과 오랜만에 만나는 자리였다.
이중 한명이 뉴질랜드에서 살고 있는데 한국으로 출장을 오는 김에 만나게 됐다.✈️🇳🇿
이전의 만남은 작년이었던 걸로 기억한다.

Although I’m taking a break from salsa,
it was great to reunite with the friends I first learned salsa with after so long.

One of them lives in New Zealand and was visiting Korea for a business trip,
so we took the opportunity to meet up. ✈️🇳🇿

The last time we got together was probably last year.

이 누나가 뉴질랜드에서 살다가 한국으로 와서 먹고 싶은게 바로 한국식 치킨이라고 한다.🍗🔥
우선 접근성이 좋은 이수역에서 만나기로 했고, 열심히 인터넷 검색을 통해 모이게 된 곳이 '시고르통다르닭'이었다.

일찍 도착한 동기 형이 메뉴를 먼저 시켜서 먹기 시작했는데 맛이 정말 좋다고 해서 기대를 많이 하고 갔다.🤤
나는 10분 정도 늦게 도착해서 맛있게 먹었다.

She said that after living in New Zealand,
the first thing she craved in Korea was Korean-style fried chicken. 🍗🔥

We decided to meet at Isu Station for convenience,
and after some serious online research,
we ended up at a place called "Sigor Tongdaru Dak."

One of the guys arrived early and started eating first,
saying the food was amazing, so I was really looking forward to it. 🤤

I arrived about 10 minutes late, but I still got to enjoy the feast.

양념치킨과 한국식 통닭, 그리고 닭죽을 시켜서 먹고 조금 모자란 감이 있어서 고추튀김을 시켜서 먹었다.🌶️🍗
정말 배부르고 맛있게 먹었고 옛날 추억 얘기와 근황을 얘기하는 자리였다.

We ordered Yangnyeom Chicken, Whole Fried Chicken, and Dakjuk (Chicken Porridge),
and when that wasn’t quite enough, we got some deep-fried chili peppers. 🌶️🍗

It was an amazing meal—delicious and filling,
and we had a great time sharing old memories and catching up.

2차로 술을 더 먹지는 않고 카페에서 커피를 먹을까 하다가 내가 제안해서 이 추운날에 팥빙수를 먹었다. ❄️🍧
나름 나쁘지 않은 선택이었다.😆

이수역에서 버스를 타고 집에 돌아와서 하루를 마감했다.🏡
오랜만에 동기들을 봐서 좋은 시간이었다.😊

For the second round, we didn’t go for more drinks.

Instead, we considered grabbing coffee at a café,
but I suggested having Patbingsu (Korean shaved ice),
even though it was freezing cold. ❄️🍧

Surprisingly, it turned out to be a pretty good choice. 😆

Afterwards, I took a bus home from Isu Station,
wrapping up a great day spent with old friends. 🏡😊
