That Arsenal-Bournemouth game yesterday was a tough one to swallow. We started so brightly, Declan Rice gave us a lovely lead, and for a moment, it felt like business as usual at the Emirates. But then came the collapse. Two set-piece goals, again, and Bournemouth walked away with all three points. It's frustrating, especially because we looked like the better side early on, yet somehow let it slip, and at home of all places.
I get that Arteta went with a strong lineup, with the PSG game looming on Wednesday, it might seem risky, but I actually understood the move. We can’t afford to lose momentum at this stage of the season, and to be honest, some of the lads looked like they needed the minutes to stay sharp. But it backfired, didn’t it? We didn’t just lose the game, we looked vulnerable, and now I’m nervous about what that means for Wednesday night in Paris.
Beyond Europe, though, we need to be careful domestically. Second place isn’t secured, and with Man City breathing down our necks, slipping up now could cost us more than just pride. I get the need for rhythm before a big game, but we’ve got to strike a balance. Yesterday's loss was a reminder that nothing is guaranteed in this league, and every point, even at this stage, still matters. Let’s hope we turn that frustration into fuel against PSG.
I can see you getting a draw in Paris, which obviously won't be enough. Your defensive record away from home has been great though and in the unlikely event that you keep a clean sheet, you'll have every chance of getting through.
Given the amount of media attention that Man City's "terrible season" has had, it'd be extremely disappointing to finish below them!

Unfortunately, we weren't even able to get a draw and scored a scrappy goal to save face. Sad that we chose the wrong time of the season to lose steam.

There's never a good time to lose steam but I know what you mean. It was a great opportunity to win the Champions League this season with all of the other English teams already knocked out. It's even more proof of how difficult it is to win!
It could've been worse, you could've lose steam for half of the season like Man City.

We lost steam at different times in different competitions. We gave the title to Liverpool too early on. This is the easiest Premier League title in the past five/six years
