My today's hero: Nervous applicants

As an HR Generalist, my regular 8, usual 12 or most of the time 16 hours of working is still not enough to finish what's on my entire task plate. Sometimes I feel like I'm a headless chicken already. But it is my job to check how others are doing no matter how heavy my work problems and personal baggage was.

One day while walking on the hall way, I decided to pay a visit to the Recruitment's testing area.
Full house always -which is a good problem.
I asked them how do they find the exam, what part of the recruitment process they were in at that time and what keeps them await.

Minutes more, I decided to giving them an ice breaker to lose the test result tention. We played Bring me, Riddle guessing and whoever won, I asked to introduce themselves and grab the opportunity of widening their network. It was fun!

The other guy asked for a photo of me because like them, I am wearing white too. Hashtag coincidence. Hehe. I gave in. :)

Before the working day ends, I was surprised
-and happy that I saw them again.
That time, to thank me.

Glad to know they passed the initial and operational interview of the account they applied for/endorsed at.
Just that! They decided to go back to the recruitment hub and try look for me to send the good news personally.

Said they were so nervous at first but after the simple cheer game we had, they have been carrying the positivity to do and give everthing they have to pass the round of interviews.

I am so proud of them. I made them my today's hero because for one, I am proud that their hearts are grateful hearts to think about thanking me which is actually unnecessary. Two, the result of their act will have an impact on me, I will do the same act or same kindness to pay it forward. :)

Proud to the people who keep their minds open to learning, optimism, kindness and all good things in life.
I didn't forgot to tell them to be that way every time of every single day. :)

I am thankful I can contribute to such.
This is my drive and passion. My deeds are nothing extravagant for now, but I believe my own little way goes a long way. Same with what you can do. :)
