Sliced bread from the store is nothing compared to a fresh loaf from a bakery.

Every week most of us buy a sliced loaf of bread from the grocery store.

Just about everybody likes bread and it's a good source of grains..... and sometimes fiber depending on what kind you buy.

I like to go to the dollar store because every Tuesday and Friday they have Nature's Own brand for $1.00 which normally costs a few dollars everywhere else.

However that already sliced prepackaged bread just tastes kind of bland doesn't it?

That's because it is bland.

White bread
Rye bread
Wheat bread
Double fiber bread
Hot dog buns
Hamburger buns

They are all bland.

In fact all of these taste pretty similar to me.

That's because prepackaged presliced bread that's been sitting on the shelf that came from the back of a big old truck is just boring.

If you want something that's not boring you should go to a bakery and get a fresh loaf of bread that hasn't been sliced yet.

Today I had lunch my mom and afterward we stopped and got a couple fresh loaves of bread.

I picked up a loaf of pumpernickel bread that I sliced myself just now and made a fresh sandwich with and I have to say it was probably the best bread I've had in years.
