I made a video to show how I created the diagonal spirals in the image I posted a few days ago.
I know it appears to look like an easy technique but when I first tried this I kept stuffing it up, particularly at the midway point where I turn my body around. What made it even harder was trying to do two perfect spirals in the one exposure. In most of the shots I did, one spiral would look great but the other one was crap. I kept at it though and finally got two that I was happy with 😊
The 'live' light painting on the right of the screen was captured on my phone using an app called 'Pablo'.
Tool used here was a blue acrylic tube with an orange M&M's container taped on the end (see pix below).
