It is regrettable that windows and IOS is more known than linux.
What do you think about kalilinux (backtrack)?

    Kali linux it is mostly a security penetration testing tool in no way i recommend it for day to day use.
    For windows replacement, there are better suited Linux distributions like Ubuntu, Manjaro, Linux Mint, Elementary OS, Deepin etc...
