Steemians heres a method to mining bitcoin its called Web Browser Mining

Steemit community if you are a user with the website freebitco.in inside your interface they have created browser mining

Web Browser Mining

As I mentioned above the website freebitco.in now has a web browser mining option with a pretty decent rewarding system. Below you'll see the interface they have put in to your account's console.

So if your a member of this faucet which I'm sure quite a few of you are, all you do is login to the website and it usually offers me the option but if the option isn't there then at the top where the menu bar sits, it will say Mining. After clicking this option on the navigation bar you'll have the option to set the following;
CPU USAGE which it offers between 0% up to 100%
Threads which it offers between 1 and 8, what this is so the miner knows how many numbers pf CPU threads to use.
After you set these both to your preferred level you can then click the Start Mining Button, upon doing this the monitor will display the following
YOUR HASH RATE 6 H/s
HASHES SOLVED 33,575
TOTAL MINING INCOME 0.00000010 BTC

So far by what I can see on the monitor it looks to be accurate, but then again I may not be able to tell either, they do tell you that its in Beta testing phase so with that said don't hold me liable. What a lot of people don't realize is that they're spending more on electricity to power their computer than the micro BTC they're making with these free mining platforms. It's better to buy a little and hold than using your time and computer's energy to make a fraction of a fraction at a cost-basis loss.

@steemmatt I totally agree nowadays the mining on a serious note isnt possible for people with no experience

i tried it but it takes a long time with cpu before i get any rewards..?

It looks like you have to have a few strong/powerful cpu computers or quite a few laptops/desktops in order to make something reasonable.

i have used that miner however its so slow compared to other desktop miners
its only advantage is that the mined btc goes directly to your freebitco.in wallet balance

That's awesome! It does vary depending on how many bids in the window. I don't think we are hammered as much as the bigger ones. We do offer free curation service where we pick the top 5 posts on a daily basis and post about them.

Yeah its not to bad to try out for a hobby type of thing but doing it on a serious note isnt worth it.
