Hi, breaks are essential for being productive. Do you know the concept of 'block times'? I practice it longer than a year now and I can say it helps a lot. It consists of priorized tasks. The highest task is taken to be done. The time of one block time has this structure:
- 50 minutes working with total focus on your task. You must not be disturbed.
- 10 minutes break. Release your brain. Release your body. Take a short walk. Relax and do no other work during that break.
- again 50 minutes working with total focus
- 10 minutes break
- 20 minutes break. No you can do all the things, that you might wanted doing in your 10 minutes breaks.
Repeat it.
