2 of the best hip hop albums of 1999. it was at this point where Rawkus Records were makin hella noise in the underground circuit but when i first heard these two albums Mos Def's "Black On Both Sides" and Pharoahe Monch's "Internal Affairs" at the age of 13 both of them completely changed my entire taste of hip hop music. from the lyrics to the production both albums fits to a tee they're so phenomenal it takes you back to '99 i like how deeply Mos & Pharoahe talk about various topics, being lyrical, the community and the commercialization of hip hop. these two albums are ahead of their time im so happy to own both of these classics in my collection. which album
