It is trendy nowadays to talk about the Sharing Economy. I would think the essence of the Sharing Economy is literally summarized in the terminology itself: “Sharing” = “Collaborating” and “Economy”=“Entrepreneurship” united under one common ground (a project entity).

I was very often struck short of words to introduce my project SOHOLAND (a real or genuine Sharing Economy prototype designed for co-working / co-living using an affordable property).

I would therefore now introduce SOHOLAND as a social enterprise that demonstrate the power of SHARING and ENTREPRENEURSHIP based on the joint ownership and utilization of an affordable real property (COMMON GROUND).

It is a social enterprise because it helps to overcome or reduce inequality in property ownership through the creation of shared equity of an affordable property… a Great Equalizer.

It is truly social sharing within a community of like-minded people in five domains: Live (Accommodation), Work (business center), Travel (holiday exchange), Learn (Skills exchange) and Play (Do Good. Make Money. Have Fun)…. A Great Socializer.

It is also an incubator / accelerator for Entrepreneurship in promoting Lean Startup for individuals and project duplication / scaling up through an open-sourced “franchise” ….. A Great Franchise.

SOHOLAND is therefore a demonstration of the power of SHARING and ENTREPRENEURSHIP united on one COMMON GROUND.
