Shot & Thought - My idea about "Reputation" level purpose

Why we need the numbers next to our Account name?

Reputation - yes, it means that high score is owned by someone who is: already long time on Steem platform or creates really good content and is going up quickly.
But there is third option - You can just buy it using bots with high reputation score - it shouldn't work like that but it is for now, maybe some witnesses will fix it in future...??

So what is the idea?

First of all - maximum number of rep level should be 100. Why? 100% is maximum what we can get - in reputation and in Upvote strenght. This is the idea. When we start with rep 25 - we are able to get maximum of 25% of upvoted value OR we can get maximum 25% upvote strenght from others.

Practice Scenarios

First scenario - You working hard - getting a lot of upvotes but not so much money in the beginning. It this point Your earnings wont be so big but thanks to many upvotes from Whales, Dolphins and other curation projects - Your Rep score is going up fast - You can be sure that Your hard work will brings You to the level where You will get more and more money with every step.

Second scenario - Someone who came here just to get some money without any work - will stay in place and max 25% of upvotes will go to him. If he will be flagged for being just a beggar - he will go down below 25 - staying in 10% or 0% of upvotes received - he will finally decide to quit Steemit or to try do something here. This is the cure for Empty accounts and lazy people!

Better Content -> More upvotes -> Higher Rep Level -> Bigger Earnings

How simple is that?
Is it possible to put in Live here? Maybe after another big update, something can be done?

It's quite refreshing to find people that actually think about things that might serve best all of us, not only themselves.

Monetary incentives will always attract quick-buck hunters.
Finding the right ways to reward what's valuable and put a damper on the gaming-the-system practices will always be tricky.
More so in an open community where the gates are wide open and the rules way too flexible.
In our history, there was never a great civilization based on lax rules and true collective egalitarian voting systems.
We're not there yet as a species.
On the other hand, iron fists, even in velvet gloves, ruled over and over again.
Dominance is rarely attained in a battle of ideas and easily lost as soon as there's no more need for order or the rules set becomes too burdensome for the many.
That precarious equilibrium has made and broken empires.
I personally don't expect this first iteration to solve the problems we face here.
We'll have to work on it long term, one vote at a time until something better will be imagined.
This platform is a good beginning.
I'm cautiously optimistic about its success, though.

Very well said, deep thought which I agree in 100%. The thing is - this here is virtual reality - the society can be easily placed in a correct position by strict rules - this cannot be done in real world, becoause You cannot just "remove" somebody, You can place people in jails or other places - but this brings another big problems and history showed us some examples when dictators were trying to rule the world in their way. How it ends everybody knows.
Here - in virtual world, we can much more easy create something clear and good, by setting the right rules we can show those who are coming here with bad intentions, that they will be banned and simply removed from this society if they brake the rules. It is transparent and easy action... or rather should be.
The problem appear if we have people on top who see only money in STEEM ecosystem, not trying to fix some issues which they use themselves to gain even bigger prizes.
I dont want to give examples by nicknames, but if somebody is interested - go and check the top of Trending posts, then visit the accounts, check the wallet and You will understand how it goes.
Right now is not working like it should, or like it could...
Money is making money, so if some of You think that coming here will make You rich in fast and easy way - You will be disapointed as hell.

Hello! sometimes you spend long hours with your computer preparing your material for the post, your time spent and the money for accessories thanks to which you can give a great result of your work will never return to your pocket. I'm asking when someone will reward ... when you hit something that will please you? After all, we do not turn around and go another step forward !!! Passion - leads our hearts! Reputation? it's just a number the same as our date of birth !!!
