I have been asking questions lately about STEEMIT and why it exists and will it last? So STEEMIT has created a place were individuals get compensated for writing, sharing and liking articles and blogs but this is not completely a new idea. Website like Bubblews has used this idea back in 2014 but they are no longer in business now. Granted STEEMIT has a better eco system and build around crypto currency and its also well thought out.
But the questions still needs to be asked will this last?
HOW STEEMIT WORKS and its flaws
STEEMIT community grows by rewarding users who create quality article and blogs but it need to be much better than Facebook and twitter combined. The reason I say that is because there are lots of rubbish articles and one liner post on that is not adding value to this community.
People that are coming into this community are posting pics and linking articles from Facebook to see if they can earn a bit of money and when they realize that they are not making any money they will abandon the site. This is just my opinion and experience from what I have seen from the people I have recommend.
I only have questions:
SO what can STEEMIT offer people that are not here to write article?
Why should they stay?
Whats Value is Steemit giving to these people?
For STEEMIT to be on the same talking point as Facebook and Twitter it needs to address these questions.
I see your point especially "have to be better than" Yes you have a point there. But Steemit is only in beta so we may hope for better interface on next upgrade and more graphic opportunities. Better graphic is indeed a most. The eye love to be spoiled by seeing the content unfolded.

You're right when you say that some people are trying to make money here and then they can not, they end up leaving! I started my journey here in the reverse way, I want to have a chance to make money by posting cryptocurrencies content and get paid for it! What I earn here will be purely profit, I am very excited to develop more and leverage this community, congratulations for the reflection and the point of incision raised!

I come here for the same reason. I would like to write about crypto and also share my passion for photography. Its good to see a healthy community so far.
