Google left behind its artificial intelligence expert John Giannandrea, who resigned and moved to Apple.

Giannandrea who joined Google in 2010 previously served as head of search and artificial intelligence on Google. The announcement of Giannandea's joining Apple was exactly the day after he withdrew from Google.
