That way you can easily gain Steem Power faster than the default setting which is (50% SBD/50% SP).

You’ve got it backwards. 50/50 is the way to go. Then sell your SDB for Steem on the internal market and power it up. The net result will be more Steem Power than if you chose 100% SP payout. As a general rule, when the price of SBD’s is above $1 U.S., 50/50 is the better option.
