A very good explanation of blockchain technology , the idea behind it. It is very important to know what is blockchain and how it works, if you want to be in crypto world.
How I understand: Imagine a large list of balances, and every member of network (node) has that same list of balances. and the whole network can aprove the transactions all in decetralized way, because they all have the list by themselves so nobody can alter it. if anybody will want to alter the balances on the list he should mine 51 percent of all the transactions, so if network is big its get harder and harder to atack the network. more detailed way you can check in the video..
Always remember never invest more then you can afford too loose...

The problem I have with blockchain is it reminds me of the old law land title chains. trace back owner by a bunch of deeds to the original to prove owneship. This was superseeded by Torrens title which held ownership on one deed. Faster simpler more accurate. Maybe a hybrid system is the go????
