A Picture With A Thousand Words.

The world is evolving and so is everything in it. People's lifestyles have also changed thus changing our environment which is the world.

Allow me to change your train of thought. Anything we humans do affect the ecosystem. Ecosystem in simple terms is the interconnectedness between organisms in a said environment. There's an aquatic habitat, in which the fishes depend on each other to survive. The elimination of one will affect the other aquatic animals because they need each other to survive.

If you've ever wondered what the most dangerous organisms are, my dearest reader, it's you and I. With the extinction of humans, nature would flourish and wouldn't even feel our absence.

We often think we're the most important but unfortunately, we're not. We literally the only species that pay to live on earth.

Our activities have rather lead to the destruction of the environment. The use of dynamite and DDT for fishing polluting water bodies. Unregulated mining and sand winning destroying our land, indiscriminate burning of waste causing air pollution and depletion of the ozone layer as well.

Our actions have endangered several species and some have even gone extinct, talk of the dodo bird.

In this picture a lot of things are being illustrated. A lot of things are being said, but only a few have eyes to see and ears to hear. If you only see a picture, don't worry I'll interpret it for you.

People fish for fish, but here we see the people fishing for waste instead. This isn't anywhere near a joke it's a serious issue. Humans have polluted the sea to the extent that fishing is no longer for fish but for plastic waste instead.

In the picture, it's obvious the whale is in distress. The state of the whale is as a result of pollution. It tells us how much our activities are affecting aquatic life.

The next picture shows the humans collecting plastic waste from the whale. Some aquatic life swallow not just the plastic waste we dump in our waters but also the chemicals as well. Some die, others find their way back into our bodies causing us to fall sick.

After collecting the plastic waste from the stomach of the whale, we can see the whale is happy now. It depicts a peaceful and blissful living in the lives of aquatic creatures without pollution.

In summary the picture is just an anti water pollution picture. Well, that's what I see. Can you see something else? If yes, please share it.

Kindly share to spread the word. Pollution is a big N-O. I saw this picture on instagram some time back and i don't remember the page.
