Good day Steemian and welcome, this is more than just a price update on the Steem cryptocurrency for 1/5/2025, under the hood it's been a 8 year project.
I have been posting the Steem price update since almost the very beginning of Steemit.com back in 2016 along with other content, plus I have attended many Steem official events and represented Steem at smaller events.
Many have came here to discuss the daily Steem price and recent Steemit changes for over 8 years.

There as never been a single power down made on this account since that time "8 years", our mission is to retain and rise the price of Steem for the benefit of us all. We do this by not only holding STEEM but by also buying into STEEM from time to time. All this rises the price of STEEM meaning your investment goes up in value and so does your earned rewards.

I'm sure we all want a better future for Steem and so casting your upvote here keeps Steem locked to raise it's value for us all plus we will try and use some of that Steem to buy even more. Most of the players in the crypto sphere are only here for some quick and often times shady profits, this is before they decide to just get up and disappear. But we have been here for the long run and would like to see Steem remain a strong and reliable token.

May 2025- Bitcoin reached over "108.000" on Jan 20th during the last bull run, we mention bitcoin because it can be a indication on the direction that Steem will follow. However sadly there was not a lot of movement from our own token this season. But what this means is that Steem itself is still wide open price wise for the smart and smaller investors👍. Last night I went to sleep under the usual late hour, this was mostly due to having work early in the morning, but also from being tired of the previous early work shifts. I woke-up only to my scheduled alarm, which is how it should be and I was not surprised due to being so tired. I'm pretty sure I got too hot last night at some point, but it was not enough for it to disturb me, out of the covers it was cold. These early mornings are usually a struggle to wake-up for and this morning it was no different. For the weather it was dark, the sky was clear, temperature wise it was just about comfortable. It's a early start because I had to be in work very soon, and so there was no time for chores. With no free time I skipped breakfast, got my bag set for work, I changed and left. On the way to work I took the rubbish with me to dispose, it got much brighter, enough that I caught the sun rise. When I got to work it was my least favourite superior who I would be working with, I was very surprised by this because it was only yesterday we worked together for this shift. Our colleague who sets up task2 had just arrived after me, like this soon as we get in the superior can start getting that ready for me. Still because we are doing the "first to arrive" type of shifts I begin by checking the fire doors every morning, next I get started with tasks1 out of 3, sometimes up to 4 on Sundays. Task1 really started badly with things already missing, it seems like the guy who took over yesterday skipped some things at the end of shift which gave me the issues this morning, and that is very annoying. But thankfully the rest of task1 was without problems and there was not much of it, task2 was more than usual and because I had a lot of the usual work interrupting me task2 was completed late, but task3 was with no issues. I took a look at the weekly task sheet, my name is on it but only once which is surprising. I mentioned previously that strangely for whatever reason my task was the only one where it appeared as needing to be "checked" by a specific superior. I found this really odd, because all tasks are supposed to be checked over by a superior, so why did only mine have a specific superior to check over it🤷‍♂️❓. Well turns our the task for the superior was only half written, and so this was not aimed at me specifically. So I worked on one of the weekly tasks from another colleague who did not complete hers "no surprise" with the remaining time I had left. But to be honest not much of that was done, even less compared to yesterdays attempt because I just didn't have the time. I can say it was a good shift, but wanted to be done with the pointless weekly task as time moved slowly even if there was little of it, so I was glad when it came time for me to escape work😁. Outside the weather was looking nice, I needed to get some food shopping before heading home. I took a slightly longer way home after shopping in hopes of catching some more of that sunshine. Once I arrived home I got started with some of the main daily chores. I continue organising the photos moved from my phone to the computer into two separate groups. I done a bit of this the previous day "I try to get some done daily". I was wrong about it being a rather quick task and so I will need the free time to dedicate to it. I spent a good chunk of time Monday trying to get one of the cats comfortable being outside again. Something scared her "this has happened before" and likely caused by a "human". With the weather being so nice and with some patience I managed to get her going outside again without issue. Somehow today I managed to escape having to nap, which of course gave me plenty of more time. I skipped meeting with friends tonight due to my work schedule. For the quick work-outs it's been 5 days since my last one, after going for 133 days without, I took it very easy obviously but the body didn't seem to be affected by it, which was great. Lastly I started to prepare dinner I had smoked hamon with mashed potatoes, pineapples and cauliflower, then I settled in for the night. On Steemit.com 📊 the tag #curatorapplication is great for those wanting to build games and apps with Steem. TRX wallets on Steemit.com have been removed by the Steemit Developers a long with any funds. While the condenser project to fix all the wrong display numbers from rewards is very positive I think removing the TRX wallet is downscaling the usefulness of the SteemitWallet and the Steem token as a whole. We should of kept the TRX wallet functional, if you agree you can write to them here asking for it's return TRXWallet. Reminder: There as been promises of war arising everywhere, a war in this day and age will be devastating, so we must continue to work on remaining at peace, and not to fight in wars that don't belong to us.
