Breakthrough - After 13 Years Of "I Can't Describe It", I Have Words To Say What I Do!

in story •  8 years ago

13 years is a while. I can't be bothered counting how many different ways I tried to explain myself to the world.

I kept poking at the conundrum every year or so, much more intently from 2014, when I got serious, gathered my courage, took action. Left my job, started contracting instead but only making half of what we needed to live, ran out of savings and started taking advances against my inheritance. (Can I just say I'm incredibly grateful I have that option, there are many who don't.) Struggled for three years with mentors who didn't 'get' me and business models not right for me and my offering.

I didn't understand I hadn't connected yet with the truth of what I'm here to do.

So I couldn't describe what I didn't know.

(I just glanced at the clock, 11:44, I keep seeing these repeating numbers everywhere, like universal giggles)

Now I do, so here it is! Along with bright sunshine and cold clarity from Wellington on a winter morning.
