An evaluation has been done on our upcoming trip to Romania after receiving extremely helpful recommendations from @dragosroua. Once again, thank you man!
The total distance extended from 1300 km to roughly 1800km, but what the heck... I'll carry my enormous backpack for 500 km more! 
Obviously the length of the trip and the budget have to be both stretched too so we won't die from exhaustion :)
