Over voting on steemit

As a newbie on here i voted for everything i read on the first few days.
Seemed sensible.
Turns out this is a big NO. Lol
Each vote decreases by a percentage down to zero so you vote yourself out of the rewards.
So make your vote count.
It makes sense when you think about it.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam
