See First is a Facebook feature that allows a user to customize his Facebook feed by prioritizing specific users and pages. When a Facebook user selects a person or Page to see first, their posts appear at the top the News Feed. I would like a similar feature to be introduced to busy.org.
How does it work on Facebook?
Facebook help center has a brief article about it. I am quoting relevant excerpt from it below:
What does it mean to see first?
When you select a person or Page to see first, their posts appear at the top of your News Feed. The person or Page won't know you selected them.
To use see first from your News Feed preferences:
- Click Prioritize who to see first
- Select a person or Page to see first
To use see first from a profile or Page:
- If you're not already following the profile or Page, click Follow near their cover photo
- Hover over Following or Liked near their cover photo Select See First.
I added two images of how this feature works on facebook:
What is my proposed idea for Busy.org?
Please add a feature similar to the facebook see first feature so that I can prioritize posts by friends and steemians I know very well. This would allow users to customize the news feed.
