I tried hiding behind shadows
you did see me behind Windows
and for a long time I succeeded in hiding
you would never see me leading
call me the obedient follower
like a sheep to the slaughter
am the perfect introvert
ever so darling and obedient
you would never find me in an argument
not even in parties signed by the management

and for a long lime I hid behind shadows
peeping behind windows
you won't hear me wimp not even winc
you won't hear my voice
cos it gets drained in the noise
so amidst all odds, you still find me nice
I never had the heart to cheat Eunice
I trust all, I love all, I forgive all
some contrary to mama's call

but... the sun went high up
the lot was casted
the shadows disappeared with the night
I was thrown into the limelight
no shadows to hid into
no windows, not even 'glindo'
then I got this strong conviction
not everyone can lead...
