For those of you who don't know, Scratch is a free visual programing language created by the MIT and specially designed for kids to get introduced for the first time into computer programing while playing.

One of the projects the platform offers is a skyrocket the user has to land controlling the acceleration. While playing, the kids get a clear understanding of how pushing the arrows accelerates or decelerates the moving part and how that affects the way it moves and behaves before landing. It is a clear example of how kids can design a simple game and get a completely clear understanding of the results from applying the acceleration formulas by experimenting directly with its effects using their own game or someone elses.

Here's a Santa landing game for those wanting to try to land Santa smoothly and get their presents :)
