Challenge Pitch Season 24; Video Editing and Film Trick on Capcut

in challengepitch •  last month  (edited)

Greetings, Steemit team, and thanks for this opportunity to share my challenge. I see Steemit merge some features from other social media to make the platform fun-filled. While we create our videos on YouTube, we share it with Steemit. The whole idea of this challenge is to teach Steemians how to take a more practical approach to video editing. Many make those touches without understanding or being able to explain what that was. Without much ado, let's delve in.

Week 1: We will be exploring the CapCut editing ecosystem.
The assignment to be done by the student to get their score will be.
Navigating the CapCut workspace, core elements, basic CapCut functions that proceed and end every edition, and lastly, export settings.

Week 2: (Visual Storytelling) Will be a reflection of this video, where you can tell stories or describe something with you. We will focus on Text tools, enhancing features, layering basics (thumbnails), and audio fundamentals.

Week 3: This week we will look at overlays. We will be applying different types of animation. The student will have to identify this animation and make a short video applying it and explaining why they did so. In this video they will be made to understand keyframes and how to use them by making a video.

Week 4: This part of the week will focus on the video editing dynamics that we will be making use of free elements. We will be using sound effects, making slow motion, fast forward, and adding transitions. A video will drop for editing, or a certain video will be required from the contestant with what to work on the video.

Week 5: Another kind of edition will be taught to make the course more fun-filled. We may need a green screen, but in order to increase participation, we may wave this out for a film trick, which I will teach, how to jump over a building.

Week 6: In this week we will be making an interview video of yourself. Interview yourself; here the trick will involve applying almost all that you learnt in previous classes, like overlays, animation, sound, visual storytelling, and adding transitions, and this video may take up to 7 mins.

With this we will know if you really learnt something. I have 13 more video tricks that will also improve our editing techniques and mastery of this concept.

Selection will be based on which participate follow the instruction on making each video and the course would have focus majorly on film tricks in videos from week 3, but to increase participation more of the capcut interface explanation will be done by student with screenshot or a short video for understanding, I will be burning a lot of data to watch this video, recording the mistakes and which point a user gets correctly.

Don't worry ma, If i am given a chance to teach this, you will love it and learn more

Suena interesante y el modelo podría aplicarse a otros emprendimientos.

I like it. I think your suggestion is necessary to provide quality and variety to videos. I use Clipchamp for desktop. I've been meaning to use Cap Cut, but I find it complicated. I'm in, professor.
