Beginner's Guide to Cryptid Hunters - A P2E Game on Steem Blockchain

Today I am going to review Cryptid Hunters game. I will include all the necessary details and understanding about the game.

This is the first interface which appears after going to https://steem.cryptohunter.world/. It currently only works on the desktop version as it requires the installation of the Steem Keychain to log in and use it.

It requires the steem username. I gave my steem username and clicked on log in as I already have an account of steem.

I have successfully logged in the game and it is the first view of the game. It looks interesting rich with the good user interface. There are different components in the game such as:

• Cards
• Game
• Refferal
• Wallet

Home

This is the home page of the game. I really like the animations on the page. They make the user experience better and interesting. The home page shows the packs of the cards. Each pack of the card has 5 cards.

As you increase the number of packs the price for the packs increases by 40 STEEM. So in order to play the game you can buy the card packs and get rare and normal cards and win rewards in the game by participating in the game battles.

Inventory	History of all Transactions	Store to purchase equipment

• On the homepage we can see these three options which are very useful. The first shows the inventory or the stock of the equipment which you can use to boost your earnings.

• History section is dedicated to keep and display all the records of all types of transactions in the game distributed with sub sections.

• At the end you can see the store in the game which allows you to buy equipment to boost your earnings and increase mining rate.

Card

This is the card section and dedicated for the card related things.

• Upgrade: We can upgrade our cards in this section. Card upgradation leads to the increase in the ROI and rewards from the game.

• Collection: The next sub section is to display all the collection of the cards. We can also sort the cards based on their rarity which helps to choose them easily on priority basis.

• Synthesis: This is another interesting feature of this game that we can synthesise cards. WE need to select 3 cards from our collection and then we can synthesise them. We can choose the level of synthesis from normal to legend. The cost also increases as we increase the level of synthesis. We must have keys to pay the synthesis cost and these keys can be bought from the store and each key is bought for 60 NOVA tokens.

Game

This is the game section where we can play the game by using our cards. On the right side we can see a countdown when it reaches its threshold it gives a free product such as a card. You can see that as soon as I clicked on it I claimed a free card that is Bullet Normal card. After claiming this card my mining power is now 4.5/day.

Now I can claim free card from this again after around 8 hours. There are different game modes in the game.

• Basic Dungeon
• Whispering Woods
• Frozen Abyss
• Intermal Rift

This is the detail of all the game modes. By default the game starts with the Basic Dungeon as currently it is my game mode.

Leaderboard

This is the leaderboard of the game. It shows the ranking of the users based on their scores. The more you score the higher your rank is. Currently my rank is 7 as I only have 18 ATK (score). At the time of writing @malkang00 is at the top while having the rank number 1.

Referral System

There is a good referral system in the game. If we refer 1 person we get 1 free card. Moreover when the referred user buys a pack the referrer gets 5% from that user. Wallet

This is the wallet in the game which shows different assets in the wallet. It is not fully functional yet and some features are coming soon. Currently it only shows the number of assets linked to our account. I have 0.2 NOVA tokens which I have earned now right after claiming the free card.

Mining and Yield based on Rarity of the Cards

This information about the yield and the boost of the cards due to upgrading has been collected from here. I included it for the further clearance about the cards system as it is solely based on a the cards.
