We work in such perfect harmony.
We use our immense wealth to get them into their powerful offices. They in turn pass legislations that help us amass more wealth. Sometimes, in order to keep them in office, we manufacture outrage that they can use against their rivals.
And they in turn look the other way when we do not abide by the same rules as the little people. That so called contract with the State simply does not abide by us.
Often, we fund activities in other, less powerful countries that would ultimately serve our interests. While our friends in the legislature weaponize the so called "foreign aid" to ensure that non governmental organisations in those countries continue to facilitate activities that would ultimately aid us.
We also need to create new markets for our weapons. This isn't all that difficult. Our friends simply declare that a certain country is in dire need of freedom and democracy. Freedom and democracy that apparently only our country can provide. And only by carpet bombing freedom and drone attacking democracy into those countries that clearly don't know any better.
As a result, the demand for our ammunition never wanes.
What's more, our friends in the legislature can use these..... missions to provide freedom and democracy to keep other countries in line. Lest they be suspected of lacking freedom. They even publish yearly indices to rank these countries! It's all quite amusing really.
Of course, things don't always go so smoothly. There have been those few occasions where some, let's say, uncooperative individuals have slipped into the legislature. These rascals think they can reduce the military budget and use that money for silly things like better healthcare and education. How absurd!
But they never get far enough. Before they can do any real damage, we simply do away with them. Often in a very public and dramatic fashion. In an open top car, perhaps. And the way the job is done, using misdirection so spectacularly, that even decades after the fact, people theorise about who could have done it.
Such is the power of our symbiosis.
