Annual Day Event
Recently, the company that I work with completed 5 years and we celebrated our 5th Annual Day. Every year we have this day somewhere in mid April or May. It’s an event where we celebrate, connect and acknowledge the great work that all of us do as a team.

My Team Members
Usually I am part of the organising committee and it was no different this time as well. The management asked me if I was available to host the event and I agreed to it. We had it on a week day so it was quite a bit of work and time that we had to put in to pull this off.

Me and my Co Host
I started my day early as I had to get ready for work and also carry everything I needed to get ready for the event in the evening. During the day we were finalising the sequence of events, the script which we were going to use for doing the anchoring as we were two people doing it and the props that we required.

We had planned three games that we would play with the attendees. We wanted to cater to all the age groups and all types of people. So we had one game for couples, one for the sports enthusiasts and another game for common which was for all.

Audience Game
So I reached the venue at around 6:40 p.m. as we had to start by 7:30 p.m. we quickly rehearsed the entire script and made sure that everything was ready for the event. We started by welcoming our General Manager and his wife with a bouquet.

Couples Game
We inaugurated the ceremony and cut the cake. And then we went on to present certificates and awards to all the performers and the employees who have completed 3 and 5 years with the company. After that we all enjoyed the games that we had planned and everyone then clicked a lot of photographs. We then received our gifts and proceeded for dinner.

It was a day of great fun and we all enjoyed our annual day. We got the chance to connect with our colleagues and other members whom we don’t closely work with.
