Terrorism means use of force and violence against person, groups or go government to achieve political or other ends. Bomb blasts, murders, kidnapping and torture of worst order also fall in the category of terrorism.
Terrorism is a planned activity. Robbers, warriors and heads of powerful parties act as terrorist and make use of force to destroy life and property according to planning. Terrorism is the name of brutality and barbarism.
Human life demands security but terrorism cause insecurity of lives, property and honor of people. Terrorist do their activities fearlessly and mercilessly with no regard to justice and injustice.
Islam means peace.
It hate terrorism.
According to Islamic point of view:
- Instead Islam command "jehad".
- Through jehad, glory of Allah Almighty is exalted, cruelty comes to an end and peace and justice is established.
- It nips the violence in the bud.
- Terrorism is happening not in some particular country but almost all countries of world are becoming it's worst victims.
The most devastative international terrorist activity of this century till now was 11th September, 2001, aerial attack on the world trade center in New York.
Numberless people from America was killed and property of billions of dollars was destroyed. Huge economic losses were no exceptions. In Islamic world the germs of terrorism are breeding fastly. Afghanistan, Kashmir and Palestine are obvious target of terrorist.
In Pakistan terrorism has assumed a frightening form.
- Our newspaper carry horrible stories of organized violence, bloodshed, murders, bomb blasts, gang rapes and torture.
- It has evil impact that demoralize the nation. It has spoiled the nation's good image all over the world.
- Terrorism is full of destruction and devastation.
- It creates the feeling of uneasiness, insecurity and instability among the people.
- It erodes inner strength and outer glory of society.
- It spoil it's economic prosperity, social peace and national unity.
- Mass illiteracy, poverty, unemployment, mans lusty nature to store countless richness and selfishness have paved the way for terrorism.
- In Pakistan increasing growth of political have worsened the situation.
People are divided on the basis of ethnicity, sect and tribe.
They are forced to fight with one another for petty issues.
- Economic pressure is also big cause of terrorism.
- Wide spread unemployment , insufficient supply of basic necessities and dearness have enhanced the frustration of masses.
- So, they commit crime of terrorism as a result of their frustration.
- External forces of hostile neighboring states are involve in spreading violence and bloodshed.
Terrorism must be uprooted with the help of the world powers. In order to eradicate fire, bomb blasts and bloodshed, we also must follow the golden rules of peace because
We should try to be tolerant, patient and cool minded. The government should provide the best chance to best people in order to raise an army of brave and capable individual who would steer the ship of state to the land of glory. We should need of hour is to take immediate steps for its eradication.
