Weekly Contest - Best Diary Game | 18th June 2025 | Fire service, busy bus stand, cloudy afternoon sky.

Today I came to take an entry for a wonderful diary game contest organized by this community.

Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, is always busy. Because 80 percent of the people in the city start their day by going to work. That's why if you wait for a bus as a means of transportation, you have to wait for a long time. That's why early in the morning I was going to Dhaka to meet a friend of mine and suddenly I stood next to the bus stand due to light rain. I was waiting for a while and saw behind me the building of Fire Service and Civil Defense Station Kalyanpur Dhaka.

From a distance, the building looks like a very modern style building, but the fire service personnel are engaged in work 24 hours a day. Sometimes, fires break out in different parts of the country, so the fire service personnel are active 24 hours a day so that they can get help in extinguishing the fire.

They have a special fire service pak in front of the fire service office through which water is supplied to extinguish the fire. Such fire stations are seen every now and then in Dhaka city, but I met a friend of mine from there. My friend suddenly served a special dessert. If you want to know its name, you will be surprised, its name is Sandesh.

It is made with pure milk. When you break it and put it in your mouth, it will create a soft and soft feeling. Maybe that is why its name is so strange. Since I am in Kalyanpur, I have to go to Dhaka city from there for some work. That is why I think it is better to go by bus as a means of transport. Although there is Bangladesh Prem Seva, the train station is very far from the bus station, so it will be difficult for me to go, so I was standing at the station next to it.

After the Eid holidays, many people are going to Dhaka city to spend their busy lives, so the airport bus stand looks very busy today. Hundreds of people were waiting for the bus, they are also ready to return to their working lives. There is a huge elevated expressway next to it, through which long-distance buses ply.

There are thousands of busy people in this city who are busy with their work. Some are running different food stalls next to the station, some are selling clothes, some are selling shoes. Most of the people are involved in business. I was waiting for the bus, buses were coming one after another but no bus was coming for our destination.

There are small buses that enter Dhaka city but it was difficult to go there because there were many passengers. Then I thought I would leave from this bus stand to the elevated expressway bus stand above. So I walked up the overbridge and captured the busiest picture of the city.

Then I got a bus from the bus stand and took it to my friend's house. In the meantime, I had some work to do, completed those tasks, met another friend of mine and collected some details.

Then it was prayer time, so there was a bamboo mosque, I prayed there, refreshed myself and rested for a while. Dhaka city is very busy, so I was getting sleepy due to fatigue, but I have to return home, so I went out to meet another friend of mine. I spent the afternoon with one of my friends. Then I was waiting for the bus from a place called Dhaka Technical More. Several buses were parked there.

Basically, when we were waiting for the bus, everyone was returning home from their respective workplaces. So it is normal to be crowded in the vehicles at this time. I was looking for a bus from Dhaka to Tangail but it was very difficult to get the bus.

We had to wait there till evening because we were not getting any bus. We had no alternative means of transport to come from there. Although I had another friend with me, I was feeling a little comfortable. Before evening, the small lights on the highway came on.

The sky was cloudy but the view from above was beautiful. There were a few private cars parked on the side of the road. The real picture of the busy city in the evening can be understood. I had been waiting for the bus for a long time.

Then I suddenly felt a little hungry so I bought biscuits from a nearby shop and ate them. The road you can see is the only road to Tangail city or North Bengal directly. I have to return home through this road so instead of waiting for the bus, I started walking because there is another station ahead. Seeing such lights of the city and cloudy sky, I wanted to take a picture.

After an hour, I saw a bus that would take me to Tangail. So I boarded that bus and headed home. It had been a long night since I had come home. So, after getting home, I freshened up, had a small lunch and rested. Then I took out my phone, checked some notifications and posted an atlas. This went on for a while, then I chatted with friends on my laptop. Then, when the night got late, I fell asleep and another day passed like this.
