Drawing A Portrait By Using White Pens

Hello steemian!

Today I want to share my first experience of using a white pen to draw.

At first I didn't know that there were white pens that could be used in drawing, and after seeing other people's work I was curious about white pens. So, I intended to buy them at the nearest stationery shop but unfortunately no one sells them and even the seller doesn't know about white pens. Maybe because I live in a remote area, so it's hard to get the tools what I need.

Finally, I tried looking for it in an online store and ordered 3 white gell pens with numbers 05, 08 and 10. A week after that I received the item and I was very excited to try it immediately.

I looked for a good portrait reference to try and I happened to find a portrait that made me very interested in trying it, a portrait of an old man enjoying a palm leaf cigarette.

Oh yeah, before my orders arrived, I had bought a black paper that I would use.

The technique used in drawing this portrait is the free-scribble technique without sketching. Because the scribble technique is more effective for beginners like me. So I don't have to go into detail, especially I was using a pen which can't be erased.
