...yes, this is right off the side of the highway. You should just assume that if there's fresh water, there could be an alligator lurking. Just last week or so a woman's Labrador jumped in a pond and became dinner. This was right in town, a large park. Some idiot on the news expressed shock and blamed it on a lack of signs! How about realizing where you are? You're in Florida and there are large carnivorous amphibians here!
