When we try not to think; more thoughts come at once! That’s the nature of the mind! It’s busy in nature like a monkey! How does it stop? I think this question has been asked by many mindfulness practitioner! Instead of to stop, we can control it, to train it; alike training the body muscles, we need to train the mind muscles, so that it becomes more elasticity, more flexible, more space when facing daily life adverse situations! It is to allow yourself have space to “act” rather than “react” to the events. “React” implies repeatedly to act the same; and hence, the same result! In order to change thing to happen in a different way, the only way is to change the way of thinking! To realize how powerful the thought is, just by observing the pattern of life, how much % you focus on positive thoughts? How much % you focus on negative thoughts? The thought is a seed of life event, the quality of seed depends on the thinking approach, then determine the outcome! Every thought triggers emotion and that leads to choices of action we take, and that leads to the result! This formula is fixed, so by substituting a positive thoughts by a negative thought, observe the feelings, then the result can be completely the opposite! Life is about probability & possibility 🙏🏼
